Prince Edward Island is accessible by air via the Charlottetown Airport, located less than 10 minutes from Charlottetown, the province's capital. If you or members of your party are driving, you can take either a Northumberland Ferry boat which departs from Caribou, Nova Scotia and arrives at Wood Islands, PEI, or you can drive from New Brunswick to PEI over the Confederation Bridge, the world's longest bridge spanning ice-covered water (12.9km/8 miles).
